Good design is in the eye of the beholder. We apply an analytical approach to design: it is often easier to work with grids and structures when generating graphics on computers. Examples of how we combine the æsthetic and a structure can be seen in the following projects:

• Although we're perfectly at home with long technical documents and academicallt-respectable tomes, we also relish the challenge of fitting tight copy into a direct marketing leaflet.
• We created and managed the corporate ID for a small independent start-up publishing company with a high media profile, including their catalogue, book cover designs, poster designs, right down to their business cards and letterheads.
• We worked on a think-tank report that needed to match a pre-existing design template used in other documents in a suite. We matched the colour and logo on the cover.
• In the same project, we used colour photographs; however, the print budget did not run to four-colour process, so rather than use monochrome images we converted them to duotones.
